taylor and craig are getting married this august in california. they had so much fun together, which made me really enjoy shooting! i had a really hard time picking my favorites - my first pass ended up with 60!









i just had to put this one in!

josh and molly

last saturday i shot a wedding with melissajill. molly is so gorgeous and it was a beautiful day. they were surrounded by family and friends, and even had two uncles who conducted the ceremony.



i just thought the sky looked amazing here!

the nelsons

i love when i have my clients back within a short amount of time. the kids do so much better because they remember me, and they know that i like to have fun! the nelsons have three adorable little boys with the most beautiful eyes. we decided to do a desert landscape, to show their out of state families where they're living :)




while we were taking ryan's pictures, the other boys decided to explore and climbed straight up the side of the mountain. it probably took them 2 minutes to get up, but then they got a little nervous looking down.


i thought this was funny - he looks like king of the mountain!




these boys really had no fear. we were sitting up here watching the sunset, and they all kept inching closer and closer to the edge.

michelle, parker, and baby sister

michelle is due in june with a little baby girl. she was such a great model, and willing to try anything. her son parker was a little nervous at first, but then he couldn't get enough of the camera! he kept wondering when mommy's turn was over ;)

the dillard family

on thursday i did portraits for the dillard family. although we got a lot of cute family ones, i think oliver stole the show! he was so smiley and happy, and had me chasing him all over the place!





they had some friends visiting from out of town who came with them to the shoot. oliver and the little boy jackson obviously love each other! this is when he first saw them coming...


at the end, oliver had a lot of fun throwing rocks and flowers up in the air.

the nielsen family

the nielsen's have been with me since the beginning. thier whole family is beautiful (and handsome) so its great for me to do their portraits. we went to papago park, and even though the girls were all dressed up and wearing their "high heels" they were hiking all over the place!






you might think we posed liz like this, but she has had this same pose since the first time i did her portraits, almost 2 years ago :)



you can't tell in this shot, but marissa is actually really high up. her dad could hardly toss her up into this little indention in the mountain.




marissa and noelle are really close in age, and they are such a little duo.

collin's senior pictures

collin was really fun to shoot, he brought 4 guitars, one of which he built himself! we made sure to get pictures with each one, and i got to listen to some great music at the same time.

kristin and nate

kristin and nate got married on saturday at the waterfront in tempe. i shot nate's brother's wedding in december, so it was really fun to see some of the same family and friends. it was a beautiful day, and such a great wedding!

this little girl did not like getting her hair brushed out, but i loved her cowboy boots!

this is one of the shots from when kristin and nate first saw each other. they were so sweet together!



they had a beach themed reception - i thought this was a fun cake.

daisy mae

daisy and i have been BFF since we were in junior high! she has been modeling lately, so we decided to do a portrait shoot to get some more shots for her book. she is absolutely beautiful - so that made it easy! we had so much fun - and i love all the different places we went.

easter portraits

the biggest thing i wanted to do this week was to do easter portraits of blake and tyler. my sister and i were driving on the freeway and saw this spot so we pulled off and then tried to find our way over to it. i love how the portraits turned out! i apologize ahead of time for so many portraits, i had a hard time picking my favorites!

easter break

the kids and i are spending spring break with my family in california. i always love coming home, and enjoy time with my family!






tyler decided to try on matthew's wetsuit booties, and then didn't want to take them off! you'll also notice the sand mustasche since she had a little sand "snack".

Drumroll please...

So this is the new ME! I have been wanting to update my website and logo for awhile now, and finally it is finished! I love being able to show more of my work so that clients can get a better feel for my style. Basically - I want the moments and feelings of your life (and mine!) captured beautifully. I absolutely LOVE what I do, and I hope that shows!
