spread the word

a couple months ago i joined an organization called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. i was able to participate for the first time tonight, and i really would like to be involved in making people more aware. i had never heard about it until a client showed me pictures of her stillborn that had been done by one of the organization's photographers, and i knew immediately that it was something i would like to be involved in. its called "rememberance photography." photographers all over the country volunteer their time to families who are in need of their services. i can't say it any more beautifully than the way they do on their website, so if you get a chance, take a look. if you know of anyone who could benefit from these services, you can submit a request on their behalf. some hospitals will let the families know if this option, but if they don't, the parents could miss out on the opportunity to receive beautifully done, artistic memories.
